The simplified map indicates the location of upcoming events.
1Report Event Tap to report when an event is spawning
AEvent Spawning Indicator
Orange is an upcoming event.
Red is a potential event happening right now.
Dark Red is an event closing its spawning window.
Each map location has one or more Public Events associated. Each Public Event List updates automatically and tells you useful information on the upcoming Event.

B Approaching
C Highest Chance of Spawning
D Leaving
E G.A.N. User Submitted Event
2Location where the event is taking place.
3Type of the event.
4Rarity of the event.
NOTE: While some events are pretty common, others happen only in certain conditions (how many players are in the area for example).
One triangle is the rarest event, while three triangles is a common event with high chance of spawning.
5Countdown to the event.
NOTE: The countdown area will become orange when an event is approaching the spawning window, red when the event is happening, and finally dark red when the event spawning window is closing.
6Spawning Window when the event could happen.
AHourly Timer, repeating every hour at specific minutes.
BDaily Timer, repeating every day at specific hours and minutes.
CWeekly Timer, repeating every week at specific days.
The Guardian Alliance Network (G.A.N.) is a network of alerts based on the real-time feedback of all you Guardians. When an event is reported, G.A.N. automatically will relay the notification to all the other Guardians.
1Reliability Level The more reports we get, the more reliable is the public event.
2Time since the public event has been reported.
3G.A.N. Status Icon.
NOTE: The Legendary Edition increases the refresh rate of G.A.N. Network Events to give you even more fresh, real time events.
The Settings Section allows you to adjust some options like:
Disable Display Sleep Usually the idle timer dims the screen and eventually puts the device to sleep when no user activity occurs (e.g. screen touches). Set to ON to disable the idle timer and avert system sleep.
Mute Alert Sound When an event is spawning aon alert sound will play. Set to ON to disable the alert sound.
G.A.N. Filter Set the minimum reliability level threshold of G.A.N. Alerts. Select this setting if you would like to be alerted only for Medium or High reliability G.A.N. Events.
Event Database Events for Destiny automatically update its event database every day. If you would like to force the update you can tap on the Force Update button in the Event Database panel.
